Farm to Market Arts will be featuring new work by Jeff Wheeler. Wheeler. David Echols Studio: God (kiln god) willing and the creek don’t rise (swept away by dust in our case); Echols Pottery will have planters of various sizes for the May First Friday Art Trail. The planters are stoneware and fired high enough that they are completely sealed inside and out making them a far better choice than cheap terra cotta pots. Don’t forget to walk through the studio and view works in progess during First Friday. The gallery/studio will be open on Saturday May 5th with demos taking place between 1:00-4:00. Ron Simons Studio will feature Sam Bates – handcrafted jewelry, Michaela Proper – hand-felted hats, Sean Scully – filigree jewelry and Ron Simons – hand-made silver and gold jewelry.
